I was asked recently what did I do to meditate. The lady in question was studying Buddhist Meditation and was struggling with keeping her monkey-mind still.
I am not good at meditating. My mind is too busy. Walks in nature, strolling along ocean shores, star gazing, cloud watching, listening to beautiful music...things like this are my meditation.
She was so relieved to hear these words. I could hear and feel a huge weight lift off her shoulders.
It doesn't really matter how you take time out of your busy days, as long as you remember to stop and smell the roses or take a few deep breaths, even for a few minutes. It will not only help you to bring oxygen into your whole body, it will relax you too!
